Mark Mayes, managing principal, is a regulatory toxicologist with more than 20 years of expertise in global regulatory strategies, managing both large and small programs from major chemical manufacturers to chemical distributors. Mark specializes in worldwide new substance notifications with a focus on optimizing budgets and schedules to coincide with market timing for the introduction of new products. He also is expert at specialty notifications with non-government organizations (NGOs), such as NSF, performs data gap analysis for companies evaluating their REACH obligations, and conducts TSCA 8(e) and (c) audits in the USA. He advises companies on the development of their Product Stewardship programs as well as developing protocols and handling guidelines for sensitive end use applications. He has either led or served on many industry panels for the American Chemistry Council, The Society of the Plastics Industry, and the NMP Producers Group.
